Philly Soccer Show: Philadelphia Union Sits In 1st Place In Eastern Conference
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Another busy week for the Philadelphia Union and the KYW Philly Soccer Show has it all for you.
This week, KYW's Greg Orlandini and CBS-3's Kevin Kinkead sit down with Dave Zeitlin, Union beat writer for mlssoccer.com.
The team is fresh off a last gasp win at home against DC United when Richie Marquez buried the game winner late into stoppage time to give the Union a 1-0 win at home last Friday. The team now sits in first place in the Eastern Conference. Tonight, though, starts a tough swing as they hit the road for two straight away games. They head down to Orlando City first, who they beat 2-1 at home earlier this season. Then they swing out to Colorado, to face the Rapids who have the best record in the league on Saturday.
Besides the Union talk, Greg, Kevin, and Dave talk about the US National team as they prepare for the Copa America.
