PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — You could say 10-year-old Neilek is into sports.

“I like to play football, I like to play basketball, I like to baseball, I like to play hockey and I like to play soccer.”

He says his favorite sport is football, but picking a favorite team? That’s a different story.

“The Patriots, the Broncos,” says Neilek, “the Seahawks, the Bengals.”

“You have to pick one,” says his social worker, Erin Spangler.

“No,” says Neilek. “You never said pick one.”

Spangler says Neilek would do best with an active family, but she says any family would be lucky to have him.

“He has a really good heart,” she says. “If someone is struggling emotionally and he can see that, he’s very understanding and he wants to help. So, that’s one of my favorite things about him.”

For more information about adopting Neilek or any other child, go to the National Adoption Center’s  web site, www.adopt.org, or call 215-735-9988.
