Reading's 'Ugly' Tree To Be Decorated In 'Charlie Brown' Fashion
READING, Pa. (CBS) – Reading's so-called "ugly" Christmas tree is a getting a bit of a touch-up.
City officials say they will decorate the 50-foot pine with a single red bulb, just like in "A Charlie Brown Christmas."
Residents previously complained the tree was too ugly after it was unveiled downtown, prompting some to compare the events to the plot of the well-known holiday TV special.
