“The space is the same, the equipment’s the same — but it’s our beer, it’s our food,” says John Wible (top photo).  “Well, it’s my beer, as I’m the brewer, right?  So my brewing style is a lot of hop-forward beers, German lagers.  And the food is comfortable but elevated, so we’re going to try and tie in to some local produce.”

Also on Wednesday, October 22nd, the East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District holds its fifth annual Witch Craft Beer Crawl, on (where else?) East Passyunk Avenue.

Renee Gilinger, executive director of the East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District, says it’s a Halloween-themed drinking (and eating) event.

“And for $6.66 — yes, there’s a theme there — you get a witch hat, a stamp card with all of your $3 craft beers, and you get to drink $3 Victory craft beers at all of those bars and restaurants for four hours.”

It runs from 5:30 to 9:30pm.
