White comes to he Union from DC United in exchange for fellow defender Jeff Parke.

In today’s show, White talks about the heated rivalry between the two teams and the fact that he expects to compete for a starting spot on the back line that is long on youth but a bit short on experience.

And he says he is no stranger to many of the Union players, competing with them in US youth program.

After a flurry of activity from the Union, it has been a bit quiet after last week’s MLS Super Draft (see related Philly Soccer Show story).
