By Greg Orlandini

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) –- The MLS Super Draft is coming to Philadelphia next week, and the Unions look to be a major player this year.

KYW’s Greg Orlandini and Philly Soccer Page writer Eli Pearlman-Storch are joined in the studio by Philly.com‘s Jonathan Tannenwald.  They dig deep into the draft with Sean Doyle, social media director of Reading United AC, the Union’s USL-PDL affiliate.

Reading has seen many of its players go on to play in MLS, including the Union’s Ray Gaddis.

Doyle talks about some of the prospects who played for Reading last year who are now available for the Super Draft.

Greg, Jonathan, and Eli then discuss the departure of Michael Farfan, who was sold to Cruz Azul AC, a team in Mexico’s top division, Liga MX.

And we talk about homegrown player Zach Pfeffer. This Dresher, Pa. native played the last year in Germany, but now looks to return to Philadelphia and play a part in the Union’s plans.
