School of Rock was founded in Philadelphia in 1998. Their motto is “Inspiring kids to rock on stage and in life.” It’s a great way for teens with a special interest in music to learn how to craft skills and learn about the hard work that really goes into being a musician. It teaches them discipline, social skills and gives them the confidence to perform in front of an audience. It’s a great extra curricular activity and a wonderful way for kids to meet friends with a common interest. School of Rock offers many programs for kids at all different levels of experience.

This interactive class for kids (ages 0-8) and their parents encourages both to dance, sing and play together as they are exposed to music from cultures all over the world.
