A double shooting in North Philly has left one woman dead and another critically injured. According to police, shots were fired into a home on the 2400 block of North Marshall Street shortly before 9:30 p.m. A 24-year-old woman was shot twice and killed. Police found a 41-year-old woman who was shot a block away. Police are searching for a male suspect who allegedly ran from the scene.
Baseball fields being renamed in honor of the Gaudreau brothers in Oldmans Township, New Jersey
There's a new tribute to Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau in South Jersey. The baseball fields at Salem County Recreational Park in Oldmans Township will be renamed the Gaudreau Fields on Saturday in honor of the brothers. They were hit and killed by a suspected drunk driver while riding their bikes last summer. The brothers grew up in Salem County and played on the fields when they were younger.
Consultant says security report into arson at Gov. Shapiro's home won't be made public
A consultant paid to review security in the wake of the arson attack on the governor's official residence in Harrisburg has completed a report. But the findings will not be made public. Prosecutors said Cody Balmer was able to elude state police security as he climbed a fence, got inside, and lit fires. State police said they have already implemented some of the consultant's recommendations.
