Scallops and other seafood are favorites for people in the warmer weather months, but should be consumed all year round. At least there is little reason not to enjoy them. Scallops served in restaurants are often sea scallops, not to be confused with bay scallops which are smaller and usually in pasta dishes. The simplicity of a scallop is part of its draw, and also in its execution. You don’t want raw or overcooked-rubbery scallops. Here are the top five places to find deliciously cooked scallops in the Philadelphia area.
