CBS Philadelphia raised just over $1 million during our 14th Ronald McDonald House Charities Telethon on Thursday.
The money will go toward Ronald McDonald Houses in Philadelphia, Delaware and New Jersey.
A few times a month, a handful of Camden Catholic students volunteer and spend time after school cooking at the Ronald McDonald House Southern New Jersey for children who are critically ill or injured.
At any given time, there could be up to 25 children and their families staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Camden.
