Reading Terminal Market Expanding, City Adding Seasonal Festival Street Space
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Reading Terminal Market is getting ready to undergo an expansion. A new space is being constructed just outside the terminal on Filbert Street.
A groundbreaking ceremony for the Filbert Street Transformation Project was held Tuesday morning.
The $1 million initiative will turn the 1100 block of Filbert Street into a seasonal Festival Street and multi-use public space.
