CBS3 Pet Project: Why Pet Owners Should Be Cautious When Dogs Are Around Ponds

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- On this week's CBS3 Pet Project, Carol Erickson, an animal advocate with the PSPCA, discussed why dog owners should be cautious when their pets are around ponds. Erickson said sometimes the water in the pond can be bad for the dog, especially if they lick their paws afterwards. 

Erickson recommended calling your veterinarian if your dog ends up drinking water of a pond that's possibly harmful.
