1 Person Injured In Trenton After Officer-Involved Shooting
TRENTON, N.J. (CBS) -- An investigation is underway after an officer-involved shooting in Trenton overnight on Saturday. This happened at the corner of Centre Street and Scott Alley around 12:15 a.m.
Officials say the shooting was a result of an encounter with a person in a vehicle. During the incident, the driver of a suspected car was shot by one officer.
The person remains in stable condition.
No officers were injured during the shooting.
All of the officers involved have been placed on administrative leave, which is standard protocol for a police-involved shooting.
