Philadelphia Police Officer Injured After Driver Crashes Stolen Car Into Cruiser

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A Philadelphia police officer is in stable condition after authorities say someone crashed into his cruiser with a stolen vehicle. The incident happened around 10:21 a.m. Thursday near South 32nd and Tasker Streets.

The department said the officer was driving on Tasker Street when someone driving a stolen car hit him. Both cars were severely damaged.

The officer is in stable condition, the department said. The driver of the car ran from the scene.

No arrests have been made.
