Ceremony At Penn's Landing Commemorates 71st Anniversary Of Korean War
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A ceremony Friday recognized the 71st anniversary of the Korean War. It was held Friday morning at the Korean War Memorial at Penn's Landing.
Both Korean and American veterans came together for the event to honor the fallen soldiers and to remember the importance of the war which claimed the lives of 5 million soldiers and civilians between June 25, 1950, and July 27 of 1953.
