Small Plan Hits Power Line Causing Brush Fire During Emergency Landing In Mercer County
ROBBINSVILLE, N.J. (CBS) -- A small plane hit power lines during an emergency landing, which caused a brush fire in Mercer County. The 1966 Piper PA-24 landed on Sharon Road in Robbinsville around 5 p.m. Sunday.
Police say the pilot experienced mechanical trouble after taking off from the Trenton-Robbinsville Airport.
He walked away from the crash with minor back pain.
