Police: Man Riding Bike Killed After Being Struck By SEPTA Bus In Northeast Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police say a man riding a bike was killed after he was struck by a SEPTA bus in Northeast Philadelphia. The incident happened just before 7:40 p.m. Wednesday night on the 9900 block of Frankford Avenue.

Police say the man, who is approximately 40 years old, was struck by the Route 66 bus.

He was transported to Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital and was later pronounced dead.
