4-Alarm Blaze That Gutted Playland's Castaway Cove On Ocean City Boardwalk Deemed Accidental
OCEAN CITY, N.J. (CBS) -- Officials have announced that last month's fire on the Ocean City Boardwalk was accidental. The blaze broke out on Jan. 30 and incinerated parts of the boardwalk and amusement park Castaway Cove.
Several agencies worked together to figure out what sparked the fire, and say it was caused by an undetermined electrical source.
While the damage was extensive, no one was injured in the fire.
