PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A Philadelphia police officer is recovering after a crash in East Mount Airy overnight. It happened around 1 a.m. Wednesday at Stenton Avenue and Vernon Road.Philadelphia Students To Remain Virtual As Mediation Process Between School District, Teachers' Union On Phased Reopening Nearing End
The officer was in an unmarked car and was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
The officer will be treated and released.
