Philadelphia Police Officer In Unmarked Car Injured After Crash In East Mount Airy

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A Philadelphia police officer is recovering after a crash in East Mount Airy overnight. It happened around 1 a.m. Wednesday at Stenton Avenue and Vernon Road.

The officer was in an unmarked car and was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

The officer will be treated and released.

The driver in the other car refused treatment.
