PITTSBURGH (CBS) -- Scientists at the University of Pittsburgh say they have discovered a new drug that could treat coronavirus and possibly even prevent it. The researchers say they identified a small piece of an antibody that neutralizes the coronavirus that causes COVID-19.

They used the molecule to create the drug that they believe can keep the virus from spreading.

So far, the team has only tested the drug on mice and hamsters.
