Investigation Underway After Three People Found Dead In West Philadelphia Apartment
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are investigating after three people are found dead in West Philadelphia. The disturbing discovery was made at the Stephen Smith Towers Apartments on the 1000 block of Belmont Avenue Friday night.
Police suspect the victims may have died from a drug overdose.
How the three individuals are related is not known at this time.
Residents tell Eyewitness News that the building is a home for senior citizens and that two of the overdose victims lived there.
Residents also say the building provides good security.
An investigation is ongoing.
