Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf Announces $53 Million In Aid For Eligible Child Care Providers
HARRISBURG, Pa. (CBS) -- Gov. Tom Wolf has announced $53 million in aid for Pennsylvania child care providers. Many day cares across the state have seen a plunge in attendance since the pandemic began.
The governor says the aid will help keep child care centers afloat.
It will also help pay for the increased costs of cleaning and sanitizing locations.
Wolf said keeping child care open is critical to economic recovery.
