PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – La Salle University is teaming up with an alumnus to make and donate face shields for area hospitals. Trans “R.J.” Lualhati, a materials engineer at Johnson & Johnson, borrowed four 3D printers from La Salle.

So far, he has made 200 protective face shields right in his Brewerytown apartment.

The 2016 graduate dropped off a batch Friday morning at Abington Hospital-Jefferson Health.
