Philadelphia Police: 23-Year-Old Man Fighting For Life After Being Shot In Face In Kingsessing

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A 23-year-old man is fighting for his life after being shot in his face, police say. The incident happened shortly after 7 p.m. Wednesday on the 1500 block of South Wilton Street in the city's Kingsessing section.

Police say the victim suffered a gunshot wound to the right side of his face.

He was rushed to the hospital and placed in critical condition.

No arrests have been made.

An investigation is ongoing.
