PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Scary hitchhiker pests could be riding to your home on that Halloween pumpkin. The U.S. Customs and Border Protection found flower longhorn beetle larvae on some imported pumpkins.

They were found in some wood packaging material with a shipment of pumpkins from Costa Rica.

The pumpkins and the beetle, which can cause damage to trees, were turned around and sent back.
