Going Green: Nearly 100 Wawa Stores In South Jersey To Be Powered By Solar Panels
BURLINGTON COUNTY, N.J. (CBS) -- Nearly 100 Wawa stores in Burlington County are going green. Wawa announced on Tuesday that 93 of its stores will be powered by solar panels.
The chain already uses the technology at its store in Pemberton.
Once finished, Wawa says it will have the most solar locations of any gas retailer in New Jersey.
