Special Helicopter Used To Remove Antenna At CW Philly In Roxborough
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A big change is coming to CW Philly. A helicopter lifted an antenna from the 1,000 feet tall tower in Roxborough where WPSG, the CW Philly tower, is located.
WPSG is getting a new antenna for its new and improved broadcast channel. The old antenna weighs about 10,000 pounds.
A special helicopter that could handle the weight was used to remove the antenna.
The tower is owned by American Tower.
