ATF Officials Investigating Device Explosion In Bethlehem
BETHLEHEM, Pa. (CBS) -- Officials are investigating an explosion in Bethlehem Wednesday evening. No injuries have been reported.
ATF officials confirm a device exploded on Blossom and Fleur Lanes shortly before 8 p.m. They are on scene investigating.
Police say a vehicle -- possibly a grey or silver pickup truck -- was observed in the area at the time of the explosion.
One man who lives nearby heard the blast and did some investigating of his own.
"Cutting the grass, I heard a big bang and I went out to investigate and I didn't see nothing. Then a little bit later, I went back out and seen people out front, talking and they said something blew up in the street. I seen a Coke can with some duct tape on it, it's a pipe bomb," resident Jeffrey Speicher said.
