PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A firefighter was injured battling an overnight house fire in North Philadelphia. A home on the 1500 block of West Cumberland Street went up in flames just after 2:30 a.m. Monday.

Crews had to deal with heavy smoke as they battled the blaze.

The firefighter suffered burns to the hands.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
