PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — The Philly Christmas tree is no more. Crews took down the 65-foot tree located at City Hall on Friday night.
Workers cut off branches before lowering the tree onto the street.
Then, they ground the tree down and turned it into wood chips.
The white fir tree stood on the north side of City Hall all season where it glowed with thousands of lights.
