PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — It was an early dismissal for Philadelphia’s City Hall on Tuesday due to a power outage.

Officials say that City Hall has been closed for the remainder of the day due to the unexpected incident.

PECO crews are working on damage to underground equipment and we’re told the damage is extensive.

It’s unclear how long the repairs will take.

Large generators are being brought in to get power back on in the meantime.
