BETHLEHEM, Pa. (AP) - Officials say flooding overnight prompted water rescues, road closures and temporary closure of three areas at an eastern Pennsylvania music festival.

Authorities in the Lehigh Valley region said streams overflowed their banks Friday night and Saturday morning, and a number of people had to be rescued from stalled cars.

Musikfest spokesman Mark Demko said the Volksplatz, Familienplatz and Handwerkplatz were all inundated with water when the Monocacy Creek flooded its banks.

Officials in Freemansburg, downriver from the Bethlehem festival, warned residents on Facebook that debris such as "coolers, equipment and porta-johns" were floating down the river from the festival.

Northampton and Lehigh county emergency officials said no injuries had been reported.
