Shots Fired During Attempted Robbery In Northeast Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Police say shots were fired at officers early Friday during an attempted robbery in Northeast Philadelphia.
It happened on Bustleton Avenue and Robbins Street in Mayfair.
Police say they were responding to a nearby robbery when they stopped a suspect.
That's when they say the man started shooting at them before running to hide in an alley.
Police caught up to that suspect and arrested him.
No one was hurt.
