PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Police are investigating a shooting that left a man dead in North Philadelphia.

It happened just before midnight Saturday along the 200 block of Westmoreland Street in the city’s Fairhill neighborhood.

Police say the victim, identified as 51–year-old Rafael Vasquez, was shot once in the chest and once in the face.

He was rushed to Temple Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police recovered a gun at the scene, but so far there are no suspects in custody.
