Police: Man In Custody After Stabbing In Strawberry Mansion
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — SWAT took into custody a man connected with a stabbing in the Strawberry Mansion section of the city on Monday afternoon.
The stabbing occurred at 4:20 p.m. in the 2500 block of North Stanley Street, according to police.
The 23-year-old victim suffered a stab wound to the right side of his chest, police say. He was transported to Temple Hospital by police and he is listed in critical condition.
Officials say they declared a barricade at 4:57 p.m. when the suspect ran.
