Power Restored To All Customers After PECO Substation Fire
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Nearly two days after a fire at one of their substations, PECO has restored power to all customers.
PECO Substation Fire Causes Thousands of Power Outages
Early Thursday, PECO's outage map reported around 913 customers still without power. But around 9 a.m., all businesses and residents had their power turned back on.
Tuesday's fire at the PECO substation on West Westmoreland Street burned for a few hours, and knocked out power to 35,000 customers at it's peak.
