The Wilmington fire Department says the man was working on the HVAC system on the ninth floor at 1201 North Orange St. at the time of the incident.

An employee found the worker convulsing while part of his body was still up in the ceiling area. The employee went to help the victim when the ladder tipped over and he fell from the ceiling area to the floor, striking his head.

The victim was found unresponsive and transported to Christiana Hospital.

The man's condition is unknown.
