PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — If you’re looking for an unusual holiday gift for that special someone, the Archdiocese of Philadelphia has something in mind.

Next year will be the 100th anniversary of the Apparition of Our Lady of Fatima in Portugal.

Father Dennis Gill, rector of the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, will lead a pilgrimage for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia to Portugal and to a healing shrine at Lourdes in France.

“We’re hoping to have buses of people – that would be about 100 people going – and registrations are coming in now and they’re due in a couple months,” Gill said.

“So I would invite anyone who’s thinking of this opportunity to consider joining us on this pilgrimage to Fatima this June 2017.”
