CAPE MAY COUNTY, N.J. (CBS)—A North Cape May was arrested after police found him unresponsive with his truck in drive, resting against a curb.

Lower Township police were on patrol Thursday near Bayshore Road in North Cape May when they encountered 31-year-old Justin C. Stansbury passed out inside his truck with his gear left in drive.

“The vehicle was resting against a parking curb, which was the only thing keeping it from traveling forward and potentially impacting the nearby stores,” police said in a news release.

Officers did recover nine empty bags of suspected heroin and a hypodermic needle during the investigation.

Stansbury was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a hypodermic needle and driving while intoxicated.
