Anne Hathaway Stumps For Clinton In Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The actress best known for her roles in "The Princess Diaries" and "The Devil Wears Prada" spent the day stumping in the Philadelphia area on behalf of Hillary Clinton.

Actress Anne Hathaway participated in a four stop voter meet-and-greet to get out the vote for Clinton, starting at Temple University.

"Elections are always important. Choosing who represents you in government is always important. For me in particular this year, whomever is our president is going to choose a Supreme Court Justice, at least one, possibly up to three, maybe even four -- well, they're not going to choose them, they're going to nominate them."

Students gathered for a glimpse of the actress, some even managed to snap a selfie with her.

Kuznits: "You seem very excited to see her!"

"I think this just blows my damn mind, I'm just like, what?!"

Kuznits: "Does it make an impact when she tells you to go vote for Hillary Clinton?"

"I mean, I'm already supporting Hillary Clinton. I think it's really powerful that she does use her voice to stand up for really important issues because some celebrities haven't said anything regarding the election and I think this election's too important to sit out."
