PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — One man is dead and another remains hospitalized after a shooting outside a bar in Northeast Philadelphia.

It happened around 4 a.m. Sunday outside Candelas Bar Restaurant in the 700 block of Adams Avenue in the Lawncrest section of the city.

Investigators say it appears there was fight outside the bar that escalated into gunfire.

A 25-year-old man was shot in the chest. He was rushed to Einstein Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead. A second man, also 25 years old, was shot once in the stomach. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Authorities say a third man, 40, was found beaten. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition and was expected to be okay.

No arrests have been made yet.
