Sunday Night Football producer Fred Gaudelli says it's "hands down" the best Sunday Night Football game of the season and possibly the best overall NFL game of the year.

"It's always traditionally a game that everybody in the NFL looks forward to, but now you've got this added spice that nobody saw coming in the spring, in the summer, or maybe even at the start of the season where -- I think everybody knows now this is the first time ever that rookies will start at quarterback for both teams in the rivalry," Gaudelli told Angelo Cataldi and the 94WIP Morning Show on Friday. "The rookies, who look like they might be the real deal, and this could be the beginning of a great rivalry.

"So I think there's a lot of interest Sunday night really because of Wentz and Prescott. The game is for first place in essence, although it's still very early. So there's no question this is the best game of the year for Sunday night and may be the best game in the league so far this year."

Do not expect NBC analyst Cris Collinsworth to reveal which rookie quarterback he thinks is better during the broadcast.

"My guess is probably not because it's so early in their careers," Gaudelli said when asked if Collinsworth will give his opinion on which QB is better. "And let's face it -- I don't want to minimize what Dak Prescott has done because he's been unbelievable, but he's playing alongside another rookie [Ezekiel Elliott] who's having a great year. He's playing behind, without a doubt, the best offensive line in football.

"I think it's too early to say who is better. I think they're both in different situations. You might argue that Wentz has to do a little bit more now than Dak may have to do. Although when you play quarterback, you pretty much have to do everything."
