Police: Suspect Jumps Into Schuylkill River During Chase, Now In Custody
NORRISTOWN, Pa. (CBS) -- A suspect that jumped into the Schuylkill River during a police pursuit is now in custody.
According to officials, police in Montgomery County were chasing a suspect on foot when the suspect jumped into the river at Haws Avenue. The suspect was then rescued from the water and is now in custody.
Authorities did not say what crime led to the chase.
