NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — Authorities in New Jersey are calling the death of an 8-year-old boy suspicious and say they’re investigating.
Police say officers responded to an apartment in Newark Sunday morning for a report that a child wasn’t breathing.

An autopsy is planned.

WPIX-TV reports friends, neighbors and family attended a candlelight vigil for the boy.
