VP Biden Campaigns For Hillary Clinton At Drexel University

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Vice President Joe Biden was at Drexel University this morning, using the momentum from Monday night's debate to energize Hillary Clinton supporters.

It's all a part of a nationwide "get out the vote" effort.

A few hundred Hillary Clinton supporters packed into the Great Court at Drexel.

With the debate top of mind, Democratic nominee for Congress Dwight Evans and US Senate hopeful Katie McGinty declared Clinton the winner.

"Hillary Clinton is right, Hillary Clinton is ready!"

"Trump is painfully uninformed..."

Vice President Biden addressed the frustration of many young voters.

"I know they are not overjoyed by the choices..."

But he implored supporters to get engaged and get voters registered or face dire consequences.

The Clinton campaign is rolling out the blue carpet to register 3 million voters nationwide through IWillVote.com, with lots of attention in Pennsylvania.

On Wednesday, First Lady Michelle Obama will continue the effort with stops in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.
