NEW CASTLE, Del. (CBS) — Police announce a woman has been charged in the shooting death of a 19-year-old college student in Rutledge, Delaware.

Authorities say Malcolm Evans was fatally shot on July 9 when he was on his way to work.
“Malcolm Evans was my beautiful, loving, humble sweet son and I can’t tell you all.. the hole we all have in our hearts.He was just a wonderful, wonderful kid,” the victim’s mother said.

The victim was a Delaware State University student.
The victim had no criminal record and no involvement in drugs, according to police.
