PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Cable news host Lou Dobbs spoke with Dom Giordano from the Republican National Convention on Talk Radio 1210 WPHT and pointed out two names he is very pleased to hear are associated with Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.

Dobbs said Indiana Governor Mike Pence is a great pick to be Trump’s running mate.

“I’ve known Mike Pence since he was in Congress. He is precisely what you see. You get exactly what you see. He is, I think, solid. He is a strong man. He comes from the highest class profession in the world, your world and mine, broadcasting. He’s got me at Mike.”

He also spoke very highly of Alabama Senator Jeff Sessions and the role he is playing as an adviser to Trump.

“What he has done is do many of the things Jeff Sessions and I have talked about over the course. Jeff Sessions is one of the great public servants. For him and Donald Trump to have come together around the agenda and for Donald to have had the guts to stand up and we’ve what’s happened to folks who have been eviscerated by the national media, the left wing, the left wing groups, the so-called progressives who’ve been selling out this country for years now.”
