COATESVILLE, Pa. (CBS) — A Coatesville man was arrested and charged after police say he threw a large rock at the windshield of a police car intentionally. Authorities say he followed that up by attacking the officer driving the vehicle with the rock.

Officer Davis got out of the vehicle, and that is when police say Watson tried to strike him in the head with the rock.

Watson was charged with aggravated assault on a police officer, institutional vandalism, resisting arrest and related crimes.
