Montco Man Arrested After Child Porn Found On Computer
HUNTINGDON VALLEY, Pa. (CBS) - A Montgomery County man has been charged with possession and distribution of child pornography.
26-year-old James Mugford III was arrested after an Abington Township detective working on internet crimes against children traced some activity to his Huntingdon Valley home.
Montgomery County First Assistant District Attorney Ed McCann says more than 2,000 images and three videos were discovered:
"They were mostly images of girls who appeared to be between the ages of eight and 13 in various stages of dress and sexual poses."
The investigation began in January and Mugford was arrested in late March.
He waived his right to a preliminary hearing, and posted $20,000 bail. A trial date has not yet been set.
