PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A man was badly injured when was run down early Monday morning in the city’s Olney section.

Police say it happened just before 2 a.m.

The victim was crossing 5th Street at Ruscomb when he was hit, slamming into and shattering the windshield.

The 62-year-old driver was arrested for driving under the influence.

The victim was rushed to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he’s listed in critical condition.
